REQUEST FOR BIDS (RFB) Routine Mowing and Vegetation Management Services

1. Overview

The Town of Chouteau is soliciting bids from qualified individuals or companies to provide routine mowing and vegetation management services for town-owned properties. These properties include, but are not limited to, cemeteries, the public park, and the town library grounds.

The selected contractor will be responsible for maintaining these areas in a safe, clean, and aesthetically pleasing condition throughout the growing season.

2. Scope of Services

The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary to perform the following services:

• Mowing of grass areas

• Trimming and edging around headstones, fences, trees, buildings, sidewalks, and other obstacles

• Weed control in landscaped and hardscape areas

• Removal of grass clippings and debris from walkways and paved surfaces

• Vegetation control in fence lines, ditches, and other designated areas

  
  

Locations include:

• Town cemeteries

• Park

• Library grounds

3. Contract Term

The contract term will be from April through September/October

4. Contractor Requirements

Bidders must:

• Demonstrate experience in mowing and vegetation management services of similar scope

• Provide proof of general liability insurance

  
  

5. Submission Requirements

Bids must include:

• Company name, address, and contact information

• Description of experience and qualifications

• List of equipment to be used

• Proposed service schedule

• Pricing structure (per mow, monthly, or seasonal total)

• Proof of insurance

6. Evaluation Criteria

Bids will be evaluated based on:

• Cost

• Experience and qualifications

• References

• Ability to meet service requirements

• Completeness of submission

The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept the proposal deemed in the best interest of the Town.
