Additional Inspections - Provided that in the event the Town of Chouteau building inspector is required to make more than three (3) inspections on a structure for each permit classification, the Town of Chouteau will levy and collect an additional fee of $15.00 per inspection or $15.00 per inspection per unit for multi-family dwellings

Building Permit Procedure:

Fill out Building Application
- Application for Plan Examination and Building Permit form (PDF)
- Return to Chouteau City Hall

Electric Temporary Pole Permit (if needed) - can fall under Electric Permit
- Pay fee for Building Permit

Builder / Contractor or Homeowner
- Needs to purchase Electrical, Plumbing, or HVAC permits as required

Licenses for each trade required (State & Town of Chouteau)
- Electrical, Plumbing or HVAC License
  - $105.00 - 1st time Electrical, Plumbing and Mechanical contractors license
  - $75.00 - License Renewals (due in June every year)
